Big Data Architect

Main responsibilities:

  • Introduction of newtechnologyandchangesin architecture
  • Developing a strategic plan for the development of systems Big Data
  • Architectural Design of information systems and IT infrastructure
  • Maintaining relationships with key suppliers of solutions
  • Design and implementation of new processes operating in the area of Big Data
  • Participation in international IT projects implemented in ING Group

Desired skills and experience:

  • Educationdegree in Computer Science
  • Minimum 3 years experience as IT architect and the design of IT solutions for customers
  • Experience in designing solutions for Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, Big Data
  • Very good knowledge of the products Big Data Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, NoSQL
  • Good knowledge of technology with VMware vSphere areas, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Microsoft Windows Server, the middleware (.NET, JBoss), databases (Oracle, SQL Server)
  • Experience in the analysis of business needs and the preparation of technical specifications
  • Ability to think analytically and solve problems independently
  • Innovation and creativity
  • Strong interpersonal skills, business approach, professionalism in dealing not only with the technical units, but also with the business units and end users
  • Teamwork skills
  • Very good knowledge of English

Additional assets:

  • Certification TOGAF or IASA
  • ITIL Certification
  • Knowledge of Eclipse / Git / Jenkins, Cassandra, MongoDB, Zookeeper, Elastic Search
