Master Control Room Engineer

Main responsibilities:

• The real first line support 24/7 for technologies and systems computer centers ING Services Poland and for remote services performed for foreign clients
• Monitoring the availability and performance of thousands of components of the IT infrastructure and business applications of ING Group companies in Europe
• Participation in the implementation of automation solutions for IT incidents
• Participation in the development of tools to support processes (incident management, knowledge management)
• Support, coordination, and escalation of incidents in the area of infrastructure and IT applications
• Participation in corrective actions for large and critical failure in the IT infrastructure
• Cooperation with external companies when solving incidents
• Working in 3-shift system
• Participation in international projects for clients of ING Group (trips abroad)
• Reporting on the status of IT services major incidents and other data

 Desired skills and experience:

• Higher technical education (or nowadays a student), the preferred profile computer
• At least good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• Motivation and desire to develop in the area of IT and for continuous learning
• A strong commitment and openness to change
• Self-reliance, self-discipline, good organization of work
• Effective implementation of the goals set and the ability to actively seek solutions
•Ability to work in a group

 Additional skills

• Experience in working in an international environment
• Knowledge of Windows or Linux / Unix
