UNIX/AIX platform administrator

Katowice, Ref. no. ISP/DUIT/DD/235

Main responsibilities:

  • Regular maintenance of AIX infrastructure,
  • Providing support for Business Customers,
  • Implementing modifications into AIX infrastructure and systems,
  • Maintaining the technical documentation,
  • Automating and optimizing the processes,
  • Implementing new solutions,
  • Participating in international projects,

Desired skills and experience:

  • Higher education - preferred IT profile or similar (you may be a student),
  • Knowledge of  Unix/Linux operating systems,
  • Experience in installing and maintaining servers,
  • Ability to write scripts,
  • English at good level,
  • Team player,
  • Communicativeness and diligence,

Additional assets:

  • Experience in AIX systems administration,
  • Creativity and proactive attitude to work,
  • Experience in working remotely with customers,
  • Knowledge of POWER IBM equipment,
  • Ability to write scripts in UNIX KSH and Perl,
